What would be the better option for a PCI-E card?

An X800GTO for £120 ($215) or an X800 for £80 ($140)
(both 256mb DDR3 RAM and both 12 pipelines)
I believe the X800GTO have clock speeds of 400/490Mhz and the X800 at 400/350Mhz.

Does the price difference justify the GTO? What I am interested is how much of a difference is there between the two? Are there any comparison benchmarks?

My budget is nearer £80 ($140).

Are there any mods for the X800 to an X800XL or similer? I think they use R430 chips right?

Many thanks

If your budget is $140, you should just get it then, and maybe overclock the memory part a bit more.

Some gtos can be unlocked and will massacre the x800.

the plain x800 has 2.0ns mem so it will clock to 500mhz no problem, but the gto beats it.
