On Speedfan, my voltages are reading as follows (I have an OCZ Modstream 520W PSU)

+3.3: 3.22v
+5: 5.05v
+12: 11.86v

-5: -2.94v
-12: -8.08v
+5VSB: 5.59v

These cant be correct, or can they? Somethings wrong and I dont know what. Entire system specs are in the sig.
Thanks

Check it with a multimeter first. The ATX spec says there shouldn't be a -5V line anymore. Your meter chip probably costs 50 cents. Make sure you get a good meter, a cheap one is just as bad as a integrated mobo meter.

-5V & -12V are not used.

You MUST use a DMM! :fact:

I personally prefer my volts coming from my PSU be no more than 1% different than expected..
Your 5v line looks fine but your 3.3v and 12v line worry me...

He was just using a mobo meter, those previous numbers don't mean anything.

no they mean he should go to radioshack ASAP
spend $50 or more on a quality Voltmeter..

A crappy meter is just as bad as your mobo.

A crappy meter is just as bad as your mobo.Although not FLUKES, B&D doesn't make "crappy" meters! :fact:

why skimp on something as useful as a multimeter?
what is this world able to blow cash on a couple thousand dollar rig but not be able to afford a $50 multimeter that will last them a couple decades...

how many $15 DMMs do you know that are accurate to .0001mV?

how many $15 DMMs do you know that are accurate to .0001mV?Not even the lab standard FLUKES are "accurate to .0001mV",
0.001V = yes, 0.0001V = ???, 0.0001mV = impossible! :fact:
