I have had this Swiftech MC462A since the week they came out, and i love it, but theres a problem. Every time i get a new mobo, i seem to have to buy new mounting hardware, itjust isnt durable enough. So i was thinking that, if i have to get mounting stuff, why not just get a new HSF, its not that much more really :(.

I was considering a:
$59 MCX462+
$44 SLK800
any other reccomendations?

I have liked my swiftech, and i HATE the way the SLK800 mounts, but...is the MCX worth the extra $15? i need a shootout

hardocp's review of the slk 800 pits it against the swiftech mc462 and the alpha pal 8045.
You might want to take into consideration this is not the + version of the swifty.
