It's alright... but it consumes a lot of electricity, and doesn't perform nearly as well as a water cooled peltier system would.

I like mine. I'm using a Vantec Tornado and some dryer ducting to push outside air onto the heat sink. Right now under full load, my CPU temperature is 20c with an outside temp of -4c. Not too shabby for an XP2400+@2410MHz and 1.9v.

pretty cool, but expensive. after you get the PSU for the pelt, you are approaching watercooling price categories.

yeah, kinda spendy.......... but impressive!

Jeff- did you ever try ducting outside air to just your heatsink?? It's getting to the point that I'm considering that route.....

I've got the one rig with the air-TEC ducted and then I have two more rigs with ducts. One is an XP1800 Tbred-A running 2100MHz with 1.85v and the CPU temp is 38c(on-die). The other is an XP1700 Tbred-A's running 1.92MHz@1.85v and the CPU temp is 30c. The first one has an Alpha and no-name HSF and the second one has an HHC-001(heatpipe) with a 60mm Delta.
