View Full Version : Vaseline for condensation protection?

I use it and it did the job. I moved back from TEC for a more reliable PC but I still have the vaseline in place. It has run off some capacitors and now is running past the NB and down to the AGP slot when my 9700pro is.

Is this the same for that "lubrex dielectric grease"? I know not all dielectric grease is made the same. I assume the Lubrex has a clay like building quility like vaseline. Vaseline cant become conductive when running down the mobo can it?

i doubt.... the one reason Vaseline is used is to prevent water to get to electrical contacts on the board....you see, in order to prevent that to happen, she must be "on" those circuits! :D

but having it running down the board doesn't seem nice loll
