hi all.. i just bought a venise 3200, and trying to clock it higher than 2.3Ghz but fail :( :( :( .. i stuck at 230x10 @ 1.37V @ 32C, prime2004-39C

i have tried 240x10 @ 1.4V @ 32C, prime2004-40C but prime fail at 7hours.
RAM i use divider to lower down at 9/10.

im a newbie in oc, any way to make it higher without increase voltage?

You need more volts...

Try 1.55V, check your temps and then raise your FSB, also don't forget to reduce HTT to 3x just to eliminate any problems when OCing.
Chipset should be good at 1.6V and HTT 1.3V...

mate you need to disable other features in the bios, like all the spreads spectrums.

that should be it you volts and temps are ok, what is your mobo?

i try it until 1.6volt still have same result at 2.4Ghz.
HTT 3x 1.3volt also same.

yup, i do disable all the speactrums.
im using DFI LP NF4 Ultra-D mobo.

until last night my final result is 2.37Ghz @ 250x9.5 @ 1.6volt @ 35C (seem my proc don like x10 ;p )

set you RAM to something riduclously low and try again... like 133 or 100.... 2/3 or 1:2

yup, i did it by using a divider and RAM working on 150Mhz(DDR300) only.
my room enviroment tempreture is around 20C, proc is 35C max chipset 30C max the rest 28C max. ( too cold??? proc get flu??? ;p )

hey that's a really nice improvement ^^
congratulations you finally reached this after having so much trouble.

for me it did not help to give more volts on HTT...but I'm running in a strange temp problem but this doesn't belong here ;)

i fully test my venise, i get a hint : lower temp. get higher proformence!!!

DIY on dry ice freeze cooling system @ 0C @ 2.84Ghz @ 1.61V @ 284x10

after this, i planning to play around with gas cooling, something that can get -20C or etc...

any idea?

my 3000+ venice can do 2826mhz with only 1.55V ;) You shouldn't be that happy with your CPU ;)
