It was bended by a company around the corner. They make everything with only steel, so i asked and it wasnt a prob. They bended the steel into this shape. Like extreem corvettes case

Polishing, man what a job :P

its an easier method to mount DI/LN2 containers while still providing the neccissary 50pounds of pressure or whatever it is

He mounts the mobo on the plate at the bottom, then he alings the socket with the long rod, and places his container on the processor.
That way he can press the container to the CPU with the rod. Nice for Dothans, for example.

So the horizontal location of the arc is variable w.r.t the plate, meaning different mobo/socket locations are catered for?

Nice stuff waus. I know in your pic is just quick setupp, but when you finalize it make sure that rod comes down perfectly straight, or else you will have a tough time geting a good mount at the least...at the worst it will mess up some nice cores if you run them naked.
Looking forward to your finished press with benchies :)

Yes. Thats one major plus of the arc. If you can get the foam around the container to push down on the gasket on the mobo harder, you can keep those caps from freezing up like that.
Any updates yet?

lol ..I didnt even realize it.
I was wondering where the ram and cables were :)
WHat I said about the caps still holds true though, especially on that mobo waus. When I first started using the arc without holdown, the foam on the pot would slide up the container a little as it was pushed down and mounted and air can get in there and cause trouble. That line of caps always froze up a little. Now I use a liitle tape on the upper part of my container under the foam to hold it in place and keep that area near the socket sealed off tightly.

Yes i thought allready about that problem..
Well when my new tube is here its 60mm diameter. And the insulation will be 54mm zo cant get up as its very tight. zo a little pushing down and its stays that way.. I think you did it the same or not kp?
