Hi all
I am trying to config a RAID 5 in the onboard SIL 3114 SATA controller; my board is a DFI nf4 SLI-DR.
In the first attempt, I was able to format the partition and almost finish windows´ instalation, but during the instalation boot I decided to change the partition size. Now, when I try to instal windows either the setup freezes during initialization (after loading raid drivers) or windows wont recognize the drives or "the" blue screen will appear during instalation.
I tried to instal the controller in my working windows xp, but still it freezes during the setup and, after reboot, it reports an unknown error or, if i try to load the application, it says that the controller can´t be found.
I tried to load windows xp professional 32 and 64 bits, enable or not the nvidia sata controller and its drivers, but the events still seems aleatory to me...
