Hi,

Just got an SyncMaster 172T samsung lcd and i'm using the digital output on my r9700. Does this lower the 3dmark score?
I know I'm doing something wrong cous my r9700 at 391/344 on a 2.1ghz with dual channel ddr at 200fsb 4-2-2-2 produces only 15888... This is using the nex cat3.0 and dx9.

From what I've heard and read....LCD screens are definitely not a choice when running 3D...as it slows everything down.

I hope someone still reads this. I benched with my lcd on digital and got 16222 then i rebooted with a crt monitor and with out touching any setting i got 15544. I then rebooted with digital and back at 16228. Digital is better all around =)

How does LCD vs. CRT or digital vs. analog affect the 3dmark scores? I guess this goes more into the realm of how 3dmark actually achieves its scores.

well, I get highest scores when using analog composite TV Out... can't test with analog CRT as the analog D-Sub socket on my Ti4600 is buggered...
