6800 GT problem some advice needed

Hello fellow members,

I have a question about my 6800 GT ( which I bought 3 weeks a go ) I have noticed some strange effects when I am in Windows while I am watching a DVD, AVI files or browsing though some photos my screen becomes very big, so do my Windows which are open at the time and everything becomes transparent. Someone told me that this has to do with the so called ''Java'' bug? Is this true? While I am in Windows I have the following screens open: MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, Outlook, IE and Azureus. I am using the 78.01 drivers. Can someone tell me if this is driver related or is my card having some problems?

i've had the same thing before on my 6800GT after exiting out of a full screen 3D app/game. Not sure what caused it but i rarely (only had it once or twice in about 4 months) get it so it doesn't bother me :)

btw, i've had this happen on 71.xx and 76.xx drivers, haven't see it happen on 78.xx and 81.xx drivers...

thanks for the info.. some friends of mine have the same problem. i hope nvidia will have this fixed in the official 80x drivers
