I'm trying to get it, but my rental shop never has it in stock.

Bought it, finished it.

For me anyway, I found it easier than GT3 ;)

I love it but I had to leave my PS2 at home and thus couldn't finish it :(

How many hours did it take for you to beat it?
I'm still stuck on the Formula 1 series in GT3.

I play GT4 but it is never for "beating"... it is for when i get the itch to go fast and don't have a car/don't have a car that can go fast....

So I whip out the gameshark and get the 1,000,000,000,000$ cheat on and go buy all types of cars at tweak them to how I would want to buy them (conservitavley tuned) and compare them against cars that I have driven....

I was wanting to buy one of those 900Deg. Steering wheels from Logitech but I don't play enough to justify one. They sure look awesome though.

well with 60% complete in GT4 and sore thumbs I am happy to keep on playing GT3 as well as GT4. Fan for life as it gets best with getting those mili's off on ur best-lap :)

i've got all the gran turismo games :D ever since my uncle played it i wanted the first one. the thing on the first gran turismo, if you had a big turbo it would lag like hell until 5k rpm so i'm glad they fixed that

I got GT4 that day it was released, and have nearly beaten it. I think I'm around 96% or so. Anyhoo, its a vastly superior game to GT3, and I hear its out of this world if you have the Logitech DFP wheel.

Fix??? There is nothing to fix, the bigger the turbo the later it spools, in most cases.

I picked this up at one point. I like Forza better. The AI is much more intense in Forza without any slingshot effect, they're just right next to you the entire race, but you never see someone come from behind just because you managed to shoot 5 seconds ahead.

GT4 was too easy, it was all about percentages and lap times rather than competing with the other cars.

I love it so much it's my only game on ps2, actually i bought it for this game and last week I bought the DFP logitech wheel! It's just awesome, my first drive was with the nissan minolta (forgot the exact name, but it's an endurance car) modded to more than 1k HP on the ring. Once you reach 320kph, the whole thing starts to shake, my table was shaking and moving around. Just great but sadly enough due to my work i'm only at home on week ends and i have so many things to do that i cannot play as much as i want to

I love the game GT4. I bought it last weekend but my dad has my ps2 so i can only play on the weekends. it took me a while to figure out how to use Nos (Nitrous) if u bought nos for ur car. You push R1. I have this wheel but i blew it up (it started smoking cause i didnt have the right power adapter.) i also almost blew up my ps2 (it fell over and all i saw on my screen was blue) i took it apart and all i saw was that my disc got a few scratches.

I have GT4 and i love it! Only 20.1% complete, but I have a pretty sweet lineup of cars; Nissan 350Z Concept, Skyline R33 and Ford GT and a whole garage full of others that i dont use. Game does get repetative, especially when you use really slow cars.
Anyone have any tips for a sweet car or where to win one? My 350z does drag in 9.81

Not to nitpick about GT4 or Forza, but I must say Forza's ai on hard is bs... Racing the final endurance race in the 962 (Bought it on live) and got spun out on lap seven by a car that was 45 seconds behind, then the fuel milage is bs, it doesnt make a Porsche 962 run out of petrol after 2 laps... I cant seem to beat the final race... its always one thing or another.

I have them all but don't have the patience of doing them same 30 min races to get some cash and can't keep my temper under control when I lose especially by seconds. I think my sad brother done all the endurance (torture) races though

I agree, the wheel makes it a completely different and more enjoyable experience. I'm not too far through it though I spend too much time driving round N'ring and drifting on trial mountain.
