I have never seen any headphones that support a digital input, such as a spdif optical or coax. I'v seen the wireless surround headphones with the base that may have an optical input, but Im looking for a much smaller package. I know theres a need for converters and such, but if they even do exist maybe they would have there own dac.

There are none, power draw is prohibitave, it would be heavy, bulky, and offer no benefits. Just get a decent DAC, and use a good pair of headphones.

I fail to see the point in headphones if they produce no noise ;).

Just get some Sennheiser HD 650s, fairly cheap and good analog quality.
