I have done the drop mod on my c800 e deluxe and i wanna know the exact amount of KOMS of the trimer so as to have 1.65 full load. 28 koms do not really help. Northy 3.2c@4100. When i set 1,6 from bios during double prime it freezes and it is 1,63v full load

The droop mod is to prevent the vcore from drooping.

What you want to do is a vcore mod. ;)

Try 27K ohm then set your vcore to 1.67V because the board's vcore doesnt work with 1.62V and 1.65V. It's just the way it is designed and does the same with my board and everyone else is. Just set your vcore higher to compensate for the droop.

I don't understand what you mean, AKURA? You mean set the vcore to 1.67V with a vcore mod? Because as far as I know the maximum you can set it to in bios is 1.60V.. Thats atleast how it is on my P4C800E Deluxe. So if georgesod want it much higher than that he would have to do the vcore mod. :)

If you look at the cpu he's using. It's a northwood not prescott. What he wanted to do is set it at 1.65V and be able make the vcore stay there. :D But the downside is when you're using a northwood is that those 2 bios settings which are 1.62V and 1.65V fluctuate heavily even if you did the droop mod. In fact, if you dont have the vdroop mod and you boot at 1.62V and 1.65V with the Northwood. The PC wouldn't boot. Strange eh!!! :D

Ah! So the northwood give you over 1.6V in bios? Why then is he setting it to 1.6? :)

Ah heck I dont know :D Yes yes very strange phenomenom indeed :D
