I have a choice between OCZ Powerstream 520W or a Zippy 500W. Which is better.

I'd go for the OCZ, better regulation, adjustable pots and better warranty.

I would get the OCZ PowerStream 520W.

Adjustable rails

1% load regulation

5yr warranty

Famous OCZ customer service! :toast:

One vote for zippy. They dont have external pots, but have inside. I have a 460w model that is absolutely amazing.

Another vote for Zippy. Same version that marvin has and the japs who exceeded 7Ghz++++. Can OCZ do that :D

Great 2-2 but the Zippy is cheaper and what did the Japs do MADE IT TO 7GHZ. It looks like a Zippy win but give me more suggestions. Also someone was talking about OCZ problems what are they?

The zippy has more sophisticated design and the components that are used have very high quality and they are strict at using cheap components. Believe me that unit will power anything and the rails will hardly fluctuate. My only gripe to both of my 460W/700W Zippy :slobber: is that both don't have PCi-E connector. You can easily purchase an adaptor for it from PcPnC. At least that's what i'll be doing when i decide to upgrade everything. :toast:

I wish I could get the 700 but the 500 is what I can afford and I am not going to get a really good video card unless it is last gens vid card so no PCI-E is no problem to me.

The Zippy 460W/500W are the same unit. If you can find the 460W for cheaper price grab it. Because they are both rated the same 3.3V-30A/5V-40A/12V-32A rated temp 0C-40C+ continous power. No Peak values there, coz peak doesnt worth a damn thing. :D
