how can i monitor the temps of my video card?

If i alt tab i can open the nvidia panel and check except it takes a minute and by then its cooled off. Is there something that i can run in the backround while playing that will record the temps at ever 1 or so minute intervals and i can check the logs AFTER to see if it was overheating??

and it logs the temps so you can see what they're reaching, meaning you can look at what the temps were an hour ago or so and it records them?
