15 months now, same OC all that time :D

A64 SD 3700+ 2.20Ghz @ 3.30Ghz 2x512MB TCCD DDR600 7-3-4-2.5-1T 1.76vcore, 2.80vdimm, phasechange

Longest so far is a P3 700 @ 800 for around 4 weeks, but had to restart for some reason or another. Bachus, if that comp stays on 24/7 anyways, y not let it crunch d2ol. This is the prefect thread for d2ol people.

oldest computer I have that runs oc'd full time is a Thinkpad 486/75 Mhz Oc'd to 100 (3x33 from 3x25). It's an FTP server running an antique version of Linux, it is now 13 years old. :D

Uhm... my old Athlon 2700+ was oc'd 20% on a lanparty for 14 months. It still works, I just turned it off and stuck it in the closet. I leave my current x2 rig at 2.6GHz 24/7 and bench it for Spi etc around 2.8x for short bursts....

Ugly n Grey, u should definetly run d2ol on some of those 24/7 comps. We could use your help. That goes for EVERYONE here. If you comp is running 24/7, and its not folding or anything, help out the d2ol team get to #1.

I run F@H on the idle Windows and Linux rigs, the ones at the cottage only have a shared dial up connection so I'm a little lame there, but I get new F@H files when I am there...I run nothing on the Solaris rigs because the environments have to be pristine (perfect) for testing database patches.....

I run dimes on one rig. That's about it. The other units stay off, a single core AXP is kind of a lame computer, it will go to the next relative than needs an internet surfer box with a cheap video card slapped in it.

This fall when everything is moved, I'll turn some of the Opty love on for the D2 teams if it runs great on a Solaris 64 bit....I'll make a separate partition for it on some of the less critical boxes. Other than that, CPU cycles are all used.

So yeah, everything on 24/7 should definitely go to promote our teams....all three of them.

P4 2.8 Northwood with P4P800-E Deluxe - 8 months @ 3.4ghz.

Current rigs at 2.5ghz for a month now. Waiting on cash for better cooling so I can push it some more :D

Aaaahhh... Well, that first PC (AXP-M) is actually on all the time, literally 24/7 and I only reboot it for maintenance once in a while. It used to crunch D2OL and Distributed Folding for about 12 months, until March, when I quit Distributed Computing projects altogether. I used to have a farm of 7 PCs, you know ;)
The other rig is powered on for about 12hrs/day...

My server has been running 24/7 without reboot for almost 8 months now. See the 24/7 OC in the sig. Not much of an OC but it IS a server and requires 100% reliability.

My gamer has been OC'd 24/7 for months on end.

No, I know. Just wondering. Ugly n Grey, D2OL has a solaris client (http://www.d2ol.com/dOL/download_instructions.html) so that might be worth a shot. U have to have java though, dont know what your veiw on that is.

my p4-2,6 (100 FSB) @ 2.906MHz(stock voltage), been running this thing on my desktop for 2 weeks now, it was 10MHz before, but that would crash after 10 hours. FAD is running full-time on it...

The rig in the sig (that rhymes! :) ) has been continuously OC'ed for close to two years without going under 2.3 Ghz (I lower it for for 3dMark03).

It doubles as a server for the three other stations in the house when not in gaming use. It runs 24/7, except for the monthly cleaning out of the dust bunnies.

every CPU have ever had, was overclocked, from the day I got it, till the day I sold it.
my videocards are usually bios modded for extra speed.
my ram is always overclocked.
if I can overclock it, I will, and do, everyday, all day.

My fx-53 is running at 2600, that's the highest it's stable at, and that's with 1.6v. oh well. I had my 3200+ venice running 2.7, but I killed it when I took the IHS off by taking a couple resistor packs with it.

topic missed :P
hmmm this year I had 5 procs but none of them run longer than some benches...5-7 days where the most I had on the first newcastle i guess ^^
but before i had a socket A JIHUB @2420MHZ on a chaintech 7njs summit and 256mb of infineon for around one year this was the longest 24/7 system ever been in use in my life ;)
it's still running at a friend of mine...so i think 3 years now ^^
