so my surge protector failed

so ill probly get to claim this list of hardware:

so now that its all pretty good and well not working, now i guess its time for a new comp! if i can get monster power to pay up. they need a licensed computer repair person to say its all dead. problem being there arent any licensed computer repair people anymore.

anyway. thats my story. my 2 desktops are dead, and my bench rig is no more. and my psus.

if they decide to pay, i get a fat check for what its all worth. im pretty sure its what i payed. so buko bucks for me!

I wouldn't worry too much about Monster paying up... assuming you can prove it was the power bar and not your power supply going nuts. Not too likely, but with some of the people at this forum, you never know.

I sell Monster stuff where I work and they've always given us exceptional service, not that I've ever had anything break because it was their fault :).

well 2 psus died... so it has to be the surge.

oddly nothing else in the house died.. and other stuff on the surge was fine.

but more than one psu in the area ate it during the power outage. (i heard later someone else had their comp die and it was the psu that bit the dust)

so hopefully they will find a surge went through it.
