So, yesterday I went to download a file when my pc suddenly restarted. When it came to the fasttrak loading part it said one of my raptors wasn't functioning. I fooled around with it for a while, taking out my other drives and hoping i wouldn't have to reformat. I eventually set up the raid again without having to erase the drives. The problem is that I can't always boot up my pc. Sometimes i'll have to unplug my dvd-rom for it to continue past the detecting IDE drives part on the POST. I can't boot with my 120gb barracuda connected. It's fine with just the 80gb.

If the 120 is plugged it'll load up to the win XP loading screen and continue the little bar crossing forever.

I'm pretty much at a complete loss. Is my antec trueblue 480 on the way out?

a had the same problem coz a hard drive died, or at least was dying....pc would boot up, butt crash before the windows loading screen comes up, or sometimes not even get to the bios splash screen........

soooo, maybe your psu is okay!
