DFI-NF4 and SATA 300mbps prob

i have a problem with enabling 300 mbps sata on my western digital 160gb drive. i know both the motherboard and HD support this feature.

anandtech refers to this feature tool in order to enable 300mbps sata on this very drive:

but in my case it says that my drive doesnt support it. so can anyone help, or has had this problem?

Are you sure your drive is fully SATA II compliant? I bet not.. post the model number... and of course a Hitachi drive product is NOT going to work on your WD drive.....Please post your system specs including mobo

the anandtech website states here (http://www.anandtech.com/storage/showdoc.aspx?i=2454) that this drive should support it. im kinda confused on what to do ATM. im sure the drive supports sataII.
