XbitLabs compared several processors in pro apps:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
AMD Athlon 64 FX-57
AMD Opteron 875
Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 840
Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.73GHz

But the main part was about 2xAthlon 875 on ASUS K8N-DL with GF Quadro FX4500.

875? They could just have used 275's as it's only a dual CPU setup.

would have been just as good, if not, better with the 275's.
875's are made to run simultaneously up to 8 way.

There are no real architectural differences between them so what difference does it make? (275 875). Don't post about how many units are supported, that's already been said...
