I have an old 1.7ghz Williamette socket 478 and I need a motherboard for it. I will be trying to overclock it as much as I can. What motherboard should I get? i was looking at the abit is7-v2 but I'm not sure it would support it.

Any board which supports 400Mhz FSB processors, I suppose--and to answer your question: that board will be capable of using the processor you mention.
