Me and a few co-workers are all experiencing issues with Diamondmax 10 300gb SATA drives.
I have two of these hdds. 1 which is a storage drive on a DFI NF4 SLI-DR and is intermitently not detecting on POST. The other is on an MSI neo2 board and has never caused any problems.
A co-worker is experiencing the same problem with on his ASUS A8N SLI board.
We brought a drive into work and it detected fine on a PC. We were able to access the drive in Windows. Not so when it was re-setup on my mate's ASUS rig.
Has anyone else experienced this with these HDDs?
Searching on google, it appears other people have had problems, some sites have indicated that it may be the pin 11 needs to be grounded...
Hopefully, there is another solution!
Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to do much in the way of troubleshooting the problem further.
