Waiting for 3.73EE and 7800GTX SLI to do more detail performance test.
As the INTEL structure limitation, the total performance and DDRII are not as good
as expect. However, this C19 board is perfect for Intel Fans and people who is looking
for stable OC. This board also has very detail manuals, features, and OC ability - P4N Diamond

I don't know about C19 being great but I know the word has spread and now it's being avoided like the plague. Not only in this FORUM (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=70325) , but also in other 2 that I check sometimes. DDR2 not as good as expected? well, GSkill is not "recommended" by nVidia's nForce 4 SLI-IE chips but Corsair XMS, I personally don't think GSkill is as good as Corsair XMS2 5400UL and 8000UL.

I think the Intel "fans" will wait for the 975X chipset based motherboards (ASUS of course) and finally have the capability of SLI n Crossfire. C19 is about to make company to VIA and SiS.

How come no overclocking? but underclocking?
MSI

that was the first DDR2 board I ever had.
I was one of the people stoked to see Nvidia release a P4 board...
this was the first SLI P4 board available, and I managed to get one at a pretty good price back then...

I had the board for 2 days, before I just completly swore off using another NF4 on a P4 ever... it was the most infuriating motherboard I have ever used, almost as bad as my experiences with the Abit NF7 (had 3 of them, all died in less then ten minutes of first boot, all died on exiting bios... all were new, at stock... I was flippin nuts by the time I got the 3rd RMA board, booted it up, went into bios, exit... then black screen, to never boot again)

for me, this board was one of the most flakey and unpredictable boards I have ever messed with, and stability was next to zero with it...
god I hated that board...

that was not just the MSI board. The Asus boards that I had were the same way. As well as the Abit that I tried as well. Just say NO to NF4 IE!

Too bad nVidia won't give SLI rights to the 955X, because it can be done. I think that's a bad mistake, if they want to sell more of their GeForce cards they should realize that the C19 is a joke gone horrible wrong and start writing drivers for the 955X.

ATI is in the other hand is doing a very smart thing, by letting the 955X to be "officially" the first ever chipset to support CROSSFIRE, not that I care about ATI's cards nor I ever will but for those of whom like the performance at no matter what brand and are brand loyalist (like I am) and use only ATI's, then that's good.

Right now I'm dreaming of ASUS 975X, my current 8000UL, P4 65nm SC and a GeForce card that will break the 10K in 3DMark05 @ stock speeds just so that I can play UT2K7. That's a long time to wait.................

In the mean time, windwithme, show us a picture of your keyboard. Use a regular one that has the alphabet letters?

Some of the early SLI drivers worked with the i955x Asus board. But in later drivers it was taken out. Too bad! But still I like being able to play a game full screen and watch a movie full screen with out any video lag. (I run 2 6800 gt's with 2 19" lcd's)

that dream that oyu are having about the 975 and all I think I am right there with you. But in mine there is a DC with HT! They are monsters for D2OL. :)

I was wondering the same thing about the cell phones. What's up with that?

i build a PC for a friend based on this board, and i must say, now that its up and running, it runs really nicely....at stock. Forget about OCin on this thing. A lot of key settings are locked in the BIOS without knowing the key combo to unlock them, and the windows OC utility it came with sucks bawls. Also, getting it up and running was a major pain in the ass. We had a helluva time getting RAID to work, and once we did, and installed windows, it crashed soon and became unbootable. So i reformatted both drives, then tryed to set up RAID agian, only to find that the option to set up a RAID array during POST had dissapeared. After totally clearing the cmos by removing the battery, and reformatting each hard drive one at a time, i was able to have them both hooked up at the same time and was able to create a new array. However, windows would not install. We finally said **** it, and just installed windows on 1 drive, and had the second one as a seperate drive. After getting into windows to install drivers and whatnot, we ran into a problem with getting it to take the ddr667 settings like the RAM we had was rated for. Id set it to 667 in the BIOS, and go into windows cpuz would show it being ddr533, and also at 5-5-5-15 timings where teh ram was rated for 4-4-4-12. So now we know that Nvidias RAID util. is crappy, as well as teh chipsets SPD, because it wouldnt do the proper RAM speed and timings without manually setting it in the BIOS. After a few days of screwing around, we finally got it running right, and it DOES run good, but like i said, at stock. the most i was able to get out of the board was about 3.74 (the chip is a 550 BTW) so a measly 218 FSB i think... that was IT no matter if i raised the voltages or changed the memory divider. So in conclusion, this board=crap. And from what i read, so do other boards based on teh chipset, so i cant really fault MSI, because theyve made good boards in the past, and my friends vid card happened to be an MSI made 6800GT, and its very nice. Good looking and a little slider to adjust fan speed.
