What is Microsoft Visual Studio used for? I just recived beta testing cd's from Microsoft, it's Visual Studio 2, what is that?

are you sure you don't mean "Visual Studio .NET 2005 BETA 2"?

i have that on an msdn dvd if that's what you mean by "beta testing cd".

i dunno, It was like 5 different cd's and I got it shipped directly from Microsoft.....

I use Visual Studio for programming in C#.
C# is the programming language for O/c Bible. :)
Of course you have more programming languages such as Visual Basic, Visual C++, Java as illmatik said above.
Visual Studio installs Microsoft Framework and I have Visual Studio 2004 now.
It's a complete programming enviroment much better than :stick: Borland's products.
