Hi All,

Corrupted my setup so I go to reinstall, format C: /s go thru 6 disk setup, it starts coping files ang gets to "she1132.dll" and says that file not copied correctly, retry, skip, quit. I retry several times ,put different win xp disk in same thing, try a different cd-rom, different hd (repartitioned & reformated), different ide cable, same error. Different disk copies a few more files on different disk and errors out again. Ideas? Bad mb
Thanks ............goldie

I had a similar type of problem.

throw the HDD in another computer and do a full format then put the HDD back in your new rig and install again.

That should work.

I was just having the same problem and I found it to be the RAM in this old comp. I moved it from Slot 1 to Slot 2 and it is installing flawlessly as we read.

I had that problem with an old folder, I had 4 slots so I just moved it off of the first one and it was fine.
