After reading the excellent top notch article here:

http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/radeon9700pro-overclocking/

there are some very clear and concise instructions on v-modding the 9700. Of more interest to me is the vmod on the memory. However, My voltage regulator for the Memory I/O circuit is not the same component as in the article, I can see the traces for the component shown in the article on my board but my BBA rev 3 9700pro board uses a 14pin regulator chip instead of 8 pin regulator chip shown in the article. The inner circuitry regulator seems to be the same component on my board as used in the article as well as the regulator for the GPU, so I am not worried about these.

My question is does anyone have any Idea which pins must I solder a resistor to on the 14pin chip and what value resistor should i use to obtain an outer I/O circuit value of 3.19volts?

Thanks all and Happy new year!

In case anyone is interested and has newer revision 3 of the card please see the following thread. After taking off the plate it appears that the new outer memory voltage regulator is the same voltage regulator used for the inner one on the old and new card.
