Looks like I drew last but I'm still happy. It was fun and I had a great time pushin my :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: to and past its limit. I did have to change motherboards in the middle but I think the one I switched to gave me a lower overclock than the IS7-E, go figure. Anyway, thanks for letting me still compete.

Excellent work Saaya getting all this sorted out! :toast: :toast:

It was certainly a fun event for me overall. Two things this GP helped me sort out:
1. I managed slighty better mount/contact with my HS on my 6600gt adding 10-15MHz more core speed without artifacts and around the same gain artifacting at bench speeds.
2. I think i may have managed to find settings to run my 3000+ @2966MHz totally stable but takes more vcore (1.80v) to do it than i'm willing to run for any real length of time. It's still kinda nice to know she has it in it if need be.

I like benching PCmark05..... it's nice to bench your pc now and then to see if it will do something besides 3D stuff and PI.

Yhea true it is a nice benchmark to know the overall performance off your comp espesially for laptops I feel because it uses HDD etc and when you tweak your lappy for battery usage (the battery profile) en you then run PCmark05 you get a pretty good idea of how it will perform in real life. For me at least because I'm a multimedia student so everything from coding to rendering to encoding/decoding......

LOL didn't expect a debate on my choice... I like the bench nothing else raises temps inside my case quite like that test, it whacks everything and I like the thought of being able to loop it. It's a good measure of overall performance and it's easy to see areas your rig is lacking. Plus this test was made for multi core systems in my opinion... :D

:woot: The PSU just arrived today and I went to take it at the post office.
I hope it's working cause it seems that the guys at border have been kinda rough with the package. The box came split in 2 but hopefully, the guys @OCZ packaged the PSU with like 3-4 inches of air bubble so everything seems fine inside. Thanks OCZ and XS :toast:

Work to do now:

1) Swap PSU
2) Trying to run the VX @ 3.3V from the now adjustable +3.3V
3) Clean the box to remove all the dust inside ( my heatercore is now looking like my cat :D
4) Check the mounting of the MAZE4 on the GPU since I can't believe it gets 30-40C hotter than the AMD64 while benching :confused:

PSU installed :D wtf? the wires are on the unusual side....lol. Anyway, it's working :p: I keep using the +5V jumper for my memory at the moment cause I wanted to set everything up and running like usual before trying to mess with the jumper to run the memory from the +3.3V line.
They should put a warning that the pots on the OCZ are not some 20 turns one...rofl :D I turned the +12V about 1 quarter and the voltage jumped over 13V, it was the first time I was hearing my CSP-MAP :slap:

Another good news. I reset my GPU waterblock with AS Céramique instead of AS3 and now the temp is around ~40-41C O/C and loaded versus the >60C I was getting before :banana:

hmmm as3 vs as ceramique shouldnt make a difference of 20°C under load... can you try as3 again and then as ceramique again?
be carefull though if you try it, dont want yo to kill that card :D

I did, either Im outta luck with AS3 or that things is no more good after 2-3 years..... maybe it dissolved and it's now mixed like **** :shrug:

thats really odd... so ceramique works better than as3... thats interesting... i thougt they are both the same pretty much...

not really the same, Céramique almost looks like the usual silicone paste they are giving with cheap heatsink except this stuff is thick like butter... AS3 is smoother than that and is easily spreaded vs the Céramique stuff or the AS5 for exemple. I always got good results with AS3 tho, so I think the problem could be the AS3 being too old and not homogenized anymore. No need to say, the AS3 went garbage. Also, the AS3 was electrically conductive, the Céramique stuff is not but is capacitive. It's a pain in the a$$ to remove heatsink/waterblock sticked with Céramique stuff tho once it melt
