Hi,

I'm about to build a new machine and I will be interested in overclocking it. so far I've came to this decision on Motherboard, memory and CPU.

Mobo - DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard
CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939)
Mem - Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (2-3-3-6)

Basically I'm wondering if these 3 components will work together and be suitable for a reliable and stable overclock. Also, can anybody reccommend a decent watercooling setup, I was looking at Gigabyte's 3D Galaxy pre-made system as I've no experience whatsoever with WC and wouldn't know where to begin with a custom build WC setup.

Cheers :toast:

Welcome to XS bramski !
The rig looks nice. The mobo may require BIOS update to work with X2. There also might be some problems with DFI while OCing. There are lots of threads here displaying different problems and solutions - so it`s up to search for those.
DFI nf4 bugs and fixes (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=59207)
About WC well I`m not the guru, but IMO premade systems are very expensive for that performance. You just might usefull info upon custom systems here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=10). There are plenty of stuff to read about. And of course you can ask some questions yourself if something isn`t covered enough for newby.
Good luck !

Cheers for the info, Cooper. There's plenty of reading material there so I'll get stuck right in. ;)
