Hi, I am rebuilding my WC setup, and the CPU loop will be mounted with this components:
--> DangerDen TDX Brass Top 1/2"
--> Honda Civic Radiator with 2x Vantec Tornado 92x38mm (similar to BIX2, but with two 92mm fans instead of 2x120, a great performer ;))
--> Swiftech MCP600
All with 1/2" ID tubing.
My question is that if I add a second MCP600 in series with the first, the performance will boost a lot or it will be only slightly better?? So, it worths to add a second MCP600 in this particular setup??
Thanks in advance...

Nope, adding another pump will dump more heat to the loop and you didn't have flow issue at all so why bother adding more heat to your loop

you dont need it, but it will get u higher flowrates and marginally better performance.

it does add more heat, but the heat is minimal with the MCP600 unlike similar pumps.

on a side note, is that radiator aluminum? if so you should get rid of it..

Procooling really loves doulbing with the mcp600 but i dunt think its worth the cash.

I think that in that particular system, the performance gain does not worth the cost of a second pump, I think that I will let the mcp600 alone for now... :P
Answering your side note, no, this radiator is 100% copper, and the colectors are brass, but the effective area is all copper...
It is similar to a BIX II but for 2x92mm fans instead of 2x120mm, and 60mm thick...:D ;)
Here are some pics... It is a great performer, talking about the price/performance relation, of course... any comercial rad with 2x120 fans will destroy it (a BIP II, for example, will perform better surely)

For 10 €, I think that it isnt any better than this... :D:D (for comparison, a BIX II costs here about 80 €... ;))

Hmmm you mean you own the 2nd pump? Willing to sell?

Not, I dont own the second pump, I have only one mcp600, is a friend of mine who has the second pump, and he is thinking in selling it, for this I have this question about 2 mcps in series...
If you want, I can give you his email to contact him, but we are in Spain... the transport price will be high if you are in the USA...

That is a heatercore, not a radiator. What are the dimensions on it? With some high flow fans that thing should really perform well being as thick as it is.

Well, in Spanish, heatercore and radiator are the same thing... sorry... :p:
The dimensions are 130x200mm (the effective area), and I am using 2xVantec Tornado 92x92x38mm, 109CFMs, 4800rpms, 12W fans, are they enough?? :D :D :D
This "heathercore" really performs very well, and it is very cheap if you search a bit...
Here in Spain, is one of the most wanted car heatercores...
Hope that I have answered all of your questions... ;)

if u can get it for 1/2 the retail price from your friend i say do it... if not then it really isnt worth the extra cash..

Well, finally I have bought a triple heathercore from Alphacool. It is the NexXxos Pro III, and I will use the Civic radiator for the VGA and Chipset loop...
Two questions:
--> Is this heathercore good?? I can get the Xtreme III, but for only CPU loop, I think that the Pro III version is enough, what do you think??
I cant find a review of it, but it looks good (thicker than de BIP III), here (http://www.alphacool.de/xt/product_info.php?products_id=718&cPath=5_34_35) is the link to the alphacool web
--> Now with a triple radiator instead of the Civic, it worths add a second mcp600??
Oh, I am watercooled for almost three years, and now the questions are coming in pairs... :stick: :stick:

I know the Nexxos Xtreme Radiators are made by XSPC and have been reviewed, but no clue about that pro version.
