I thought it should be fun to see what we lost during this lonnnnnnnnng competition. :p:

-14 Raid 0 array corruption (mainly pushing too far )
-MSI NX-6600GT 128MB (Voltage Spike)
-1 Sanio Denki San Ace 120mm fan (ice went thru it....lol )
-1 Set of ALtec Lansing ACS48 speakers ( I thought it would be fun to bench my speakers : nforce4 andio vs Audigy, so I used a test CD used in Auto Sound Systems compo... they didn't survive :( )
-Enermax A06 Fan Controller... LCD died as well as 1 fan channel :slap:

EDIT: sorry for taking over your post :P

1 asus p5gdc-v that is coming back from being reconstructed and a 550w sparkle powersupply and 1 92mm panaflow that was very brittle and my fingers skin that it took off and 2 bandaids worth of blood didn't hurt much but blead a lot.

Erm... nothing here??? (Runs for cover)

Taught me a lot though... (I should stop being lazy and Format & Reinstall... I ran the whole XSGP on a 1 year old "everday" winXP Pro install  )

Kinda feel bad that so many people lost so much kit... and I got away without a scratch (Well, the GF was pretty annoyed at the lack of attention at times... does that count?)

My tally was 1 panaflo fan,1 172w pelt,1 vantec nexus fan controller, and 2 lcd temp displays, all lost when 1st i forgot to plug in the water pump, then when i shut down because the water was boiling over,i forgot to unplug the pelt.It was well worth it though,i enjoyed the gp a lot and got new pb's in nearly all of the tests.

No hardware here *knocks on wood like a madman* just my nerves, sleep and about every single water molecule in my room :D All burned away by the heat comming from my comp. This thing pumps out heat like there is no tomorrow :s :p:

thank good no hardware tied on this end...... i would'nve survived :p:

edit: I noticed something weird though. Only it's good....

all the benching and running at high clockspeeds seems to have burned in my GPU??????

I'm getting the same clocks as usual but i no longer get arti's in them.......

weird stuff dude :)

Well I didn't even make the competition, and hardware failure was the reason...I thought about joining in a few times, but something seemed to break every time...

1. Dothan 750
2. CT-479
3. P4C800-E dlx Full mods too :(
4. X800XTPE Also modded up
5. Modded Mach2 (Just a pinhole, but needed repair)
6. Max3 754 Mobo (Good riddance)
7. PCI backup graphics card (merely a pawn in a game of chess)
8. My will to keep trying, but that's coming back...

Seemed that one dead thing killed another and killed another, and as soon as I gave up and resigned myself to not being in the competition, things stopped breaking. Who put the curse on me to keep me out?? :p:

I forgot to mention all the dignity I lost as the 9800 series ripped my x700 pro to shreds in 01...

Bloody_Sorcerer

just got of plane and and in house (ibiza) to see were i finished up and I not even noted.

I was in this comp from the start, lost 2 gpu an motherboard and a psu

i couldnt post in 3dmark 05 as i had killed my DX9 cards and only had a gf3ti200 or a GF4mx440se left both would not let me bench 3dmark05

I was a great comp and i had loads of fun fighting with Jamo,InSanCen and entity Razor. Others too and i was happy to be the old skool hardware kicking modern Ass, i,m sure i freaked out some A64 users in super Pi doing a 34 run.

Thanks Saaya and UnG for keeping the comp going. i made a few freinds and had a great time.
