View Full Version : How much LN2 well i need.

Hi guys,

im looking to getting into LN2 cooling, and i can get the stuff relativly cheap, just need to know how much ill need for and hr or 2 of benching.

will only be cooling the cpu, mostly 2d work.

any ideas.

Well lets say about 20l you have enough for some hours of benching fun.

Just like waus said.....20 litres will give you a nice 2hr session for just cpu.
As always, be careful with that stuff, it can burn you if your not careful.
Here are some good tips if you dont already know them:
Don't wear gloves unless they are leather or tough non-absorbent material. Use goggles or safety glasses, and make sure your pants are a little long and dont leave your ankles exposed if you have absorbent cotton type socks on.

It actually varies by location you would need to check in your area. ;)

Its very cheap stuff. but if you need to buy or rent a dewar it would be much expensiver!
Glad i dont have to pay that.

Even then there is the chance of the LN2 rolling into the glove. :nono:

indeed. so its still saver if you dont wear any gloves!
