Just wondering does any one know of any adverse side effects by running non Koolance approved liguid. I have a system I can use, which I plan on testing my block out with so I was wondering if I can run another mixture in my loop instead of what they offer. Since my current setup is waiting for a res, pump, and etc I can test my block out on this koolance. Some one let me know if they have used another liquid in the past.

Would contents in the liquid hender performance? I felt the koolance stuff, it was thicker than water, and was pretty sticky. I was told it had glycal in it. I'm assuming thats why they want you to run only there fluid, but I was also wondering if you ran maybe a distilled water mixture if it would offer better performance.

I think we call this "water cooling"
Use distilled water from local supermarket.

Only problem is ... the radiator is aluminum, and the block is copper. I read mixing metals can start corrosion in the loop.
