OK well the latest revision has been reported as having problems for sure, and Yahoo hasn't done much work on it in two years except minor tweaks. She may have to switch to iChat or other open source clients that connect to the yahoo network... Without being there in front of it, it's tough to know what's going on

use fire.. im on an ibook right now and i use fire.. after trying the other standard clients for yahoo, msn and aim, i was so frustrated i wanted to shoot myself.. i found fire, and now im a bit happier.. only problem i find with it is that it is useless for file transfers and direct connect.. it just wont do it.

Yeap definitly, I fell in love with that mighty duck, when I started editing video and subtituling films with a G4 at work... It's far away the best multi IM.
