wondering if any1 has any idea why my 3dmark01 scores are so low......my rig is...................
AMD3400+ (clawhammer, co)
Foxconn 755kers
crutial mem (1g)
Powercolor Radeon 9600pro
Im benching 8950 in 3dmark01with cpu and gfx at stock and can reach 9510 with oc..... i cant help but feel these scores are a little low.. is this about right or is there something im missing here??????????????

Do you have the mobo drivers installed? Image quality on high preformance, 3d01 running in high priority, the latest directx and cathalyst drivers?

got all the latest drivers etc................. using radlinker at the mo so il change the quality through that n see wat i get 2nite...thanx.
tightened me mem with cpu @2413 and gpu @450/224 and got 9625 in 01. this is as high as i can go (on air)

set the sliders in the ATI controll panel all to "performance"
turn off vsync

you will gain another 5000 points if u have them set to the wrong thing now

got a small increase (100 points)
managed to hit 10k lst nite with cpu @ 2420
not sure wot u mean by 3dmarl01 running as high priority n how do u do tha?

something cant be right...with my 9600XT i think the highest score i ever saw was almost 13k or something like that. (with the vid card OCed) and that was on my moms old HP with a 1.5 GHz Willamette P4, and 768MB of RAM...

How high did you oc your card?
I got 11k with an older rig as yours @ about 480/500 on my 9600np. You could try to vmod your card. That should give you some more Mhz/points

9510 with oc with an A64 and a 9600pro is really disappointing.
With a stock 2.5ghz intel, a couple of tweaks, and omega 4.12 drivers...i got my oc-ed 9600 NON-PRO up to 10.2k

hey set your setings like this for 3d (i think 3dmarko1 is 3d or is it open gl)
also make sure its running 8x agp not 4x
my default score is 14.4k (everything stock)

all my settings apear to b the same as those.......wot program is that screenshot from? my ati settings screen dont look like that!
still at 10K with cpu@2440 (fsb222x11) - gpu450/448 (no decent mem cooling on card)

that program is from ati drivers (its the direct 3d screen)

my ati driver screen (advanced display settings) looks completely diff to that..does it matter what drivers were using..i think im using the latest drivers (5.8). wot drivers r u using? i have radlinker installed if that makes any difference??

done some benchin this weekend with the same scores coming up. . .the only way i can hit 13k/14k is with the resolution down to 640x480
