basicly... i get into windows, everything is fine for about 5-10 minutes, then it freezes up... i restart, then it doesnt display my IDE drives durring bootup. i restart again, and it's fine. only to have the same exact thing over again.

new installation of windows (not but an hour old). not sure wtf is goin on, anyone got any ideas?

EDIT: possible i've been hacked? i re-installed the motherboard's ide drivers, and it seems to work fine.

but then i noticed two instances of apache running. which i know i hadnt installed. and now i cant access a few new folders that i didnt create. i also cant get on the internet. i can ping websites, but i cant use firefox or IE to GET on the internet. suxorz.

and i had nvidia's firewall up and running before i was online, and zonealarm wsa the 1st thing i got AFTER getting the internet up. bugger.

EDIT: hmm. found out the nvidia firewall uses apache. oh well... next idea as to why my computer is crazy. >_>
