I need a new PSU for my benching rig. At at the time I'm only benching with a high overclocked CPU at over 5,5ghz, or dothans.
I got a pretty good offer for a 600w OCZ PSU, but I'm wondering if the 520w OCZ is better for my purpose because it has one strong 12v rail, instead of the 600w PSU.
Or is there any better PSU in a price range of 130€? I can get the used 600w for this price and a new 520w for the same money.

According to alot of people, 520 is overall better. The Dothan WR was done on a PowerStream 520 iirc.

The 600w is not worth the price it costs over the 520w, so i say go with the 520w.

I can get the 600w for the same price, as mentioned above.

The 520w is still a more capable PSU with its beefier single +12v rail. When doing CPU overclocking like that you want a PSU with a beefy single +12v rail. The ones I recommend are the OCZ Powerstream 520w, Sparkle FSP550-60PLG and the PC P&C 510.

Thx, then I'll look for the 520w OCZ :)

You could also look at the Sparkle FSP550-60PLG. It is cheaper with more amperage on the +12v rail. It is a bit loud with its server-class fan, but it can be replaced with something quieter if you wish.

I heard a few bad things about PCP&C, and it's hard to get them in Europe.

They are hard to find in EU but you can always order from US :D

What bad things did you hear? I had PC P&C 510 and it was awesome. The only trouble is extremely loud stock fan that I replaced.
