I have a r 9800 pro, and I just reformatted my machine and tried to install drivers. I put in the supplied driver disc and I get a blue screen and a reboot. THE ONLY disc that does it. I download catalyst drivers and it says no hardware found, so I installed them manually, but how do you install the ATI control panel? :confused:
edit: is it a v.card problem or maybe a mobo problem?? flash v.card bios? :confused:
Have you installed chipset drivers? The correct sequence would be:
1. Windows and directx9
2. Chipset drivers (including AGP driver, GART etc)
3. Video card driver
Also try turning off fast write in bios.

your agp slot may have gone out or your card is getting a bad connection.
try resetting the card in the agp slot, just take it out, and make sure its in there making good contact...
