I hope that's air, but even on air that's not too impressive.

Something is way off. My 3000+ @ 2300Mhz with a 6800nu overclocked can bring in 11ishK in 3DMark03.

NO air, vapochill LS. I am actually only running 1 stick of the twinx. What could be wrong?

no there has to be more than that, my 754 3000+ @ 235x10 with a single pc4000 stick with 3.2.3.11 timings and a bfg 6800nu stock core and mild memory got me nearly 11,300 in 2k3. i think you need to look at the video card because your cpu is boomin.

This has always bothered me, previously before the mod, my high in 03 was 9674 after that I hit 10619. I have always seen higher scores and cant figure it out. To my knowledge my card is fine. Any suggestions? thanks

Scores are extremely low. Should be 13+K and 6K in 03/05 respectively.

Is it a new format with xp pro or what? Also, make sure no other programs are running when you bench it. Lastly, make sure the texture quality and such is set to highest performance(I haven't had an ATI in a while so I forget what it's called exactly but it's in the catalyst control panel somewhere).

Its xp pro and a fairly new format, I format once about every 2 months. I havent turned of background programs when benching. I have norton internet security and diskeeper running in the background i know of. I haventchecked texture quality in ccc. Iwould guess i would be wrong to asssume that its settings should default to this.

ur cpu scores are so low, i take it your throttling or something bro

danstar25
08-24-2005, 08:04 PM
What exactly is throttling?

Major_A

I'm not sure that the FX is throttling but something is off. My CPU scores are better than yours and some of the game benchmarks are too. Historically 3DMark03 has run better on ATi hardware too.
System Specs:
A64 3000+ @ 2.3Ghz
1GB Corsair XMS @ 2-3-2-7
6800nu 12/6 @ 405/840
