Hi guys,
I am building a new rig which has 4400+X2, 7800 GT in it. Now I am looking at water cooling unit.
Can someone help me by putting together a list what is needed and what are the better performance parts out ther I can get? should I be getting everything from Dangerden?
thanks again for the help,
Jack

First off, read my introduction to watercooling.

then read my guide to pumps (you can skim this one i suppose)

then take a look at my stores guide to see where to buy from.

btw in my first guide I have a few setups laid out that would fit the bill quite nicely.

The waterblock for the 7800 GTX can be tricky.
If you will have 2 loops, CPU and GPU I would go with the Denger Den NV-68.

Look for something else iff you have one loop.

i understand that the NV-68 still fits the 7800 series cards. i remember a post in this forum stating something to that affect. and i think he said he has a 7800 GT rather than the GTX although i don't imagine the sizes are any different.

found it:

I use a Danger Den NV-68 on my 7800 GTX.....the results are fine, mutch better than on the 6800 Ultra I had.

30°C-38°C idle
60°C load in Ati tool artifacts scan.

It is going up to 85°C with the stock HFS in max load and 45°C idle.
