View Full Version : Load OS on Raid 0 setup or Third drive ?
Hey All,
Setting up a Raid 0 with third drive for storage. What is your opinion's on the best place for OS. Thanks for the comments...You all have the best info. on the web... GREAT SITE.
fi your third drive is fast enough...run it off that...like me...im getting a 36gig raptor for OS....eventualy....that will be aside form the 2 hitachi deskstars i have in raid 0
2ea Raptor 74GB raid 0
1ea Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 160GB 7200 RPM SATAII
Sorry should of told you. So set OS with your fastest set-up?
I think I have plenty of room. BF2 and C of D only games on Raptor.
Holding Deskstar for basic word (school stuff and mp3's)
Would like to upgrade Deskstar in future to 16mb when cost comes down.
Thanks for your knowledge and time...
lol if you can spare it load the OS on the raptors...haha...thd be a waste...hmm
