my family laptop has a big problem ...it only posts occasionally. ive been playing with it for a few days, and it seems it only posts when its been laying still for a while.
it sounds a bit like a heat problem to me ...but i dunno. windows on it is all screwed up as well. but i cant re-install until i can get it to post constantly. ive tried opening it up and the cooler etc. is all installed properly.
its a Pentium 4 2.0ghz, 512 ram, 64mb shared. any ideas what i can try? i really want to get it working again. i can basically take it all apart if i want to ...
