weve reached the last track of this grand prix!
first of all id like to thank all of you for beeing so persistant over the last weeks, and of course especially those who offered to help me with the competition :toast:

this competition has been a really bumpy road :D
again im sorry for not having had more time on my hands, but i hope you still had a good time and enjoyed the competition :)

since xs got hacked im going to leave the week5 threads open for a few more days, but at the same time you can already post your week6 results.

i would have preferred a 3d bench but theres no other bench with an orb or a checksum, and the time to add an orb or a checksum to any bench was too short.
if you run into any problems just pm me or post about it in the week6 discussion thread (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=71801) and maybe somebody can send you a cd or you can download the benchmark in an internet cafe or somewhere else.

Saaya my 9800se is really dead now i get corruption in 2d now and it crashes the p.c can i enter using my back up cards either a gf3ti200 or a gf4mx 440se..

Man..... this sucks :( Anyone got any advice on what I need to do to get this to run at anything over 4.3ghz... I can bench at 4.5 or 4.6 easily, but it seems like there is a problem at exactly 4.3ghz, my score is either lower or just riduculously low. I have the same problem with Pcmark04????

I ran the bench and it failed the 3d rendering since I'm using a 64MB PCI card now. But it says "system suite must be selected and run to obtain PCmark score" hope to get it working. It allowed my to send it to the orb but I can't publish it. Grrr. will get it working though.

I hated every minute of running this bench,what a P.I.T.A.,took me all week to get a score,had to reinstall twice,didn't like my n-lite install(no IE).It kept crashing and overheating my rig.Then when i finally get to finish all the tests,i get no score,grrrrrr.Intel matrix crud fixed that and i at last get a score,which i couldn't submit until i'd installed all the same crap on this rig,because the bench rig isn't internet capable.Didn't get to do much tweaking or push right to the limit,but i managed a score of 6439,which surprisingly is #1 in my class.

If I get time, I'll run another tonight... Push the clocks up a bit (CPU@2.3, GFX@Stock, although PCMark05 read the 2D Clock instead of the 3D one)

That test is a real :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana: on even the smallest unstable aspect of your system, and sheer hell on a poor little XP1700

Ah well... see where that puts me. Don't think I did too badly, think I have the slowest rig in the whole competition.
