im using the 5.7's right now and the best i have got in am3 is around 53k, are there any other ati releases of the cats that are better for am3 and other benches.. i dont like the omegas or dna drivers.. they have been worse than the ati ones
im using a radeon 9800 128mb 256bit
5.8's are out today, i'd give them a whirl

When i go to ati.com i can only find the 5.7s where are you seeing the 5.8s?
there on driverheaven, they had them 24 hours early for doing ati 'a favour' apparantly, nut i'd have thought they'd be on ati.com by now

Best I've ever gotten on AM3 is with the 5.6 Cats...... pretty much better than anything else.

I just got done playing bf2 on the 5.8 cats and i loved it. ATI must have really done some work on their driver to accommodate that game.
the 5.6's worked the best for me as well, thanks
i'm not keen on the 5.8's the image quality isnt as good and the bench score havnt improved either for me
