multi CPU ACPI
high vcore
boot high clocks

Anything to increse temps really...

well ,I dont have any experience , only some basic information found in few threads like :
high vcore , stress cpu from the beginning
My experience depends on my Dice dealer :) I've been waiting for package for two weeks with no results.

that's my container

I will be faster and say :

"NO , I DONT HAVE ANY COMPLEXES" :D ;)

are you sure you're not trying to compensate for anything? ;)

High CPU Thermal throttling
I usually use 87.5%
And a temp probe and a tube with a nice thick base that holds temps really well... you'll have fun primimg at stock speeds for about 10 minutes if you put too much in to get the temps up though :)

I always turn thermal throttling off, but whats the main question of this thread?

They've all really been said.

Boot as high as you can.
Boot with as high a vcore as your safe with.
Boot hot.

I still dont get this thread :D just go read some DI topics.

What is there not to get? He is asking how to get around the cold bug when using DIce, not how to use DIce.

Guys... what is COLD BUG ????
Its a problem in the chip that wont allow it to boot or run at xtremely low temps, something like -50c and lower.

venice have cold bug??? at how many -C°??

well I don't have Dice but a modded Mach I where the temps are between -45° and -40°C load...had a stupid issue...>2600MHZ was mostly luck to bench superpi >2800MHZ was 1m impossible...there was no help with high clocks and high voltages...1.75V@3059MHZ windows boot but instable as hell...down to 2600MHZ no stable setting...
if you are having a real cold bug processor i think there is no help to get it stable...
for me it was all about luck to get a 2808MHZ pi1m shot...no matter which settings (ah remember voltages >1.5V let this processor totally crushing...1.45V was all I needed ^^)
back to air it was 2750MHZ @1.6V superpi2m stable without any problems...never did that on subzero temps because it was simply not possible...my coldbug processor didn't liked voltage at all.

Oooo thanks a lot.
So if we want to know if our proc have coldbug or not, we have to trial it ?? Try to OC with waater cooling or air cooling and then try it again with sub zero cooling? Right?

got 3200+ winchester yesterday:
1st: compressor ~-40°C 1.4V @stock stable and running --> this means NOT the proc has no coldbug
>2250MHZ nothing was stable not even 4m ^^ (1.4-1.75V 270-310HTT nothing my other hardware has a problem with)
2nd: aircooling atm 2670MHZ Pi32M almost done now ^^
got it?
