does pci-e graphics cards need a new psu generally? I'm unsure of whether or not they do, currently I'm having to use a vantec ion 400w psu until my ocz 520w powerstream comes back from rma.

Are either of these compatable or do I need some kind of converter to use a pci-e card?

All thats needed is an adapter for a non pci-e psu to work, the powerstream has 1 pci-e connector.
