As the thread title would imply, I am working with Liquid N2, but haven't had much success. Everytime the processor temp goes below -10C, the system locks up. Any suggestions on what the possible problem could be?

Athlon FX-55 SanDiego
DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra-D Rev.AB0 BIOS 623

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

may simply be the San Diego "cold bug" popping up... happens sometimes

At first I thought it might be that as well. I just swapped out the FX-55 for a SanDiego 3700 and am experiencing the same problem. If it were the processor I wouldn't expect it to happen with 2 of them.

You prolly had condensation or something like that. Try to remount all the stuff and use another motherboard aswell instead of switching cpu only. Mayb the motherbaord is the problem.

I haven't swapped out the motherboard yet. I have a second Ultra-D, so it won't be a problem. I just don't want to go a void what warranty either with dialectric grease.

Condensation doesn't seem to be the problem. There is very little in the way of frost on anything, and I have everything coated with laquer. As soon as the N2 boils off and the temps come above 0C, everything starts to work again.

I'll post the results of the motherboard switch sometime this weekend.
