any security issues with the wireless part of it?

There are always security issues. Depends on how secure you want it. The router has a built in firewall and I run zonealarm. I feel secure.

yeah i think ill run either zonealarm or sygate...thanks for the warm welcome. i plan to stay here for awhile...

Those are nice routers, but you'll need to go into its config and reset the password to something of your own. Most all the hackers know the factory set passwords on those things and bank on people feeling safe with the way they are setup from the factory. But like Hardass said, definitely use zonealarm! I use it on all my rigs and I'm totally secure. I've got the normal hardwired Linksys router that has the same firewall and even with the changed password, Zonealarm still catches hackers quite often.
