Heys guys,
I have read somewhere but i forgot where that the MSI neo 2 platinum has problems with the Creative Audigy 2.. Well today, i wanted to test it myself so i popped in the sound card and everything APPEARS to be working fine.. Occassionally, when im listening to a song or playing a game for a good 30 min+ my screen would turn blue and i would have the following msg:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPT
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any of your hardware or software is properly installed. IF this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufactuere for any windows update you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options and then selection safe mode.

Any have any clue how I can fix this?!?!!? As well, how can i use the onboard 7.1 sound card on a msi neo 2 platinum?!?! I can only get my left, right and center speaker to work, the other 4 dont work...Thanks a bunch!!
