help me select a hard drive

hello all
i am in the process of build a gaming system and its come down to the hd.
its between a 74 gig raptor or a 7200 rpm 250 gig 16 meg cache hd.
the 74 gig has seek times that are half that of the 7200prm one.

my question which is more important those fast seek times or 16mb of cache

I think you should get 2xRaptors and that 250GB as well :) That's what most people do :)

It all depends on how much space you need, though, no doubt there is never enough HDD space, just as there is never enough money :) I'd go for a Raptor for my Windows and apss installation and a good big SATA drive (maybe with 16mbs of cache) for storage.
