just so we get out of control lets have some rules

1.gigantic = bad if your pic is extremely big (lets say over 800x600 is extreme) post the pic as a clickable thumbnail (www.imageshack.us)

2. dont post anything offensive

3.no nudity

4.constructive criticism is okay, no bashing ie:OMG DOOD YOU SUX IT LOKS LIEK
(random expletive)

5. dont be a douche

have fun :D

I know it's cheesy, but I couldn't resist!

Really, who doesn't want to be a terminator?? :)

:)

I'm afraid that's about the best I could pull off with what I had.

The "termie" half was a frickin' thumbnail! :) I had to run 4 high passes just to smooth out the pixelation. This paired up with gaussian blur, unsharpen mask and a gradient blend seemed to make it passable.

It kinda looks like one of those screenshots from a telescene recording. :)

Suchan: I love that banner, it was you who did it, if yes do you have the original file in PSD or TIFF with layers on?

Suchan271

Thanks, guys.

And definately it's mine. I will use techniques learned off of other pers, but you will NEVER catch me posting/linking someone elses work.

Anyways...

Which sig? :)

The "suchan271" one or the other with the chick on it?

:)

I'm sorry, that was just a quick one off that I made just playing around a while back so I never bothered keeping the .psd. :(

For what it's worth if you'd like to take the existing one and modify it to suit your needs, feel free. As well, it's not that difficult so I could probably re-create something very similar to it in short time.

...if you like.

EinCe, that is some really creepy stuff. Lucky I never had to see this before I went to bed last night... :) Most excellent!

I decided to merge a few posts from other threads into one post here. Just seems to make more sense as I think the other thread is dead. :)

I've been screwing around with transparencies after seeing some of the other transparent images online.

This was whipped up quick and dirty to illustrate the new level of signatures a transparency can create. The images with the harsh red background shows the transparent portions of the image and it's varying levels of opacity.

Did this neat little sig for my wife's email.

Shame there's a little skip when the animation restarts.

Neat, eh?

suchan: I was wondering how you did the layer between the letters and the girl, what filter?

einCe: that last pic is just awesome, it's you or rendered ?

Suchan271

Hey.

There's a couple of blending layers in there, but the one that I think you're interested in is "distort..polar shift", adjust the image to how you like it, then set on "color dodge".

Pretty cool effect.

Creepy stuff.

Suchan271

It's kind of a fascinating art, I can't say that I've ran across it that often. As a matter of fact, my first exposure to it was you bringing up deviantart.

I thought that I'd give it a kick, nothing hardcore or the like - just something in that vein.

Photomanip of Amanda Tapping from SG1.

What do you think??

Be kind, fjording new waters here... :)

ctrl+l = levels lol, i would make a tut on how i did it bu i would have totake each step and save as a different pic and pout it all together and it would take aloooong time. heres a hint though, use textures on with layer effects

Suchan271
07-31-2005, 01:38 AM
you don't like??

I thought it came off pretty good for the 1st kick at the cat... :(

Sigh, i will try again.

Here's a thought, I'll post the original and you give me something to work towards?

http://img67.imageshack.us/img67/302/amanda61ct.th.jpg (http://img67.imageshack.us/my.php?image=amanda61ct.jpg)

Just don't make it too too hard. :)

I smoked a CBBID winnie with 1.932v on air, there's a sreen somewhere in Neo2 board thread. I did similar thing to cpu, took a hammer and gave pins some action. If I had a camera I would upload that pic, winnie looks now terrible

Here's the screeny: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=34482
